How is this directory ordered?
By disclosure by default — how much each funder publishes about its own criteria — not by what anyone paid. You can re-sort it. A paid placement is labelled where it appears and does not move anything else.
What is a disclosure score?
A count of how many of nine standard facts a funder publishes about itself: amount range, speed, credit minimum, time in business, revenue minimum, whether it is a direct funder, where it is based and how long it has traded. It measures transparency, not quality.
Does a high disclosure score mean a lender is good?
No. It means you can find out what they want before you apply. A transparent lender can still be expensive, and a lender that publishes little can still be reasonable. The score tells you how much guessing you are doing.
Are these all the lenders there are?
No. It is the set we have researched and can source. Records we could not verify are held back rather than published with gaps filled in.
Why is a lender missing a price?
Where this page says a figure is not disclosed, it means the lender publishes nothing we could find and cite. It is not an estimate, a category average or a zero. Filling that gap with a guess is how a business ends up applying somewhere it was never going to qualify.
Do you take money from the lenders listed?
Find Me Funders is free to use. We earn a fee from some funders when a business we refer goes on to receive funding, and a funder can pay for a placement, which is always labelled. Neither changes a disclosure score, a ranking position or what a page says — scores are computed from published fields, not from commercial relationships.
Can a lender pay to be listed higher?
No. A funder can pay for a labelled placement. Ranking and disclosure scores are computed from published data and cannot be bought.
How do I narrow this to my situation?
Filter by product, state and industry. The filters work on what each funder actually publishes, so a funder that does not publish a revenue minimum will not be excluded by one — it will show as undisclosed instead.
What should I do before contacting any of them?
Have three months of business bank statements, know your average monthly deposits and your time in business from a date you can evidence, and write down the amount you need and what for. That is most of what any first conversation asks.
